The objectives of Scene:Teens are:

To teach life lessons through the arts.

To teach responsibility, commitment and teamwork through modeling.

To teach useful moviemaking craft that could translate into valuable career skills in the future.

To increase literacy by challenging young minds to read.

To increase self-confidence by providing a chance to complete a project and experience a sense of accomplishment.

To provide a sense of growth to second year students, by providing them with an opportunity for peer-to-peer mentoring.

To provide a forum for creatively “gifted” students to showcase their talent, possibly giving them a once in a lifetime break into a very competitive business.

To decrease truancy and drug use by taking "at risk" kids and giving them a focus and sense of belonging.
